Your eyes are the window into the real you. In other words, the first contact people make with you is through your eyes. Most times, your eyes communicate what you are thinking, how you are feeling or what you might be hiding.

The final touch to emphasise your beautiful eyes is mascara. To magnify. The lashes, the first step is to coat the lashes with a little bit of loose powder. This will not only aid effective application but also prevent smudges throughout the day.

After that, you carefully curl your lashes, making sure this is done in two steps to create a natural curl line. The next thing is to carefully apply the mascara on the upper lashes and do not wait to apply the second coat. Mascara dries very quickly and applying after it has already dried creates the undesired dumpy look. Then apply on the lower lashes very lightly.

As if his gorgeous gowns weren't enough, Oscar de la Renta has now lent his signature touch to a line of nail polishes. He's one of many designers to venture into the world of nail art, but we love that he's stuck to three distinct colors rather than a whole line. The bright, velvety red is a natural winner, the dark purple has got us yearning for colder temps, and the delicate blue looks like it would be perfect in this Elizabeth Olsen editorial.

The colors are a match for the brand's fall '12 ready-to-wear show, and the polish is aptly titled "The Runway Collection." The colors are a statement about Oscar's well-documented love of deep jewel tones, and the light blue is meant to echo its namesake, Larimar — a rare stone found only in the designer's native Dominican Republic.

See ya Next Week!
